Samsung Announces Galaxy S9 And Galaxy S9+ With Dual Rear Camera And AR Emojis

It is now official that Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus are soon going to start shipping in international markets. On the design feature, the new smartphone is not so different from its predecessor Galaxy S8, but it is focusing more on the camera.

The South Korean based tech giant company announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona that its latest smartphone comes in a Galaxy S8 model but with advanced camera settings. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus smartphones have dual aperture settings on their back cameras.

The adjustable aperture setting on the new Samsung Galaxy smartphones means that a user can take photos at a focal ratio of either 1.5 or 2.4. When taking pictures in low light, the aperture opens up to f/1.5 ratio to collect enough light for a better picture , and in a bright or normal lighting environment, it switches to f/2.4.

Both the new Galaxy smartphones will come with a camera image sensor size of 12 megapixels, and an OIS (optical image stabilization). In addition to normal video shooting speed, the phone will have 960FPS for slow-motion videos.

Other Features That Will Come With The Samsung Galaxy S9 And S9 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will have a 5.8-inch OLED screen display with a 3000mAh battery. Also, the phone will have 64GB storage capacity, 4GB RAM and will have Snapdragon 845 SoC in the US.
