At the MWC in Barcelona, Huawei came on board with a different device than the normal smartphone it showcases every year. The Chinese based networking giant launched is the newest laptop, MateBook X Pro.
The MateBook X Pro is Huawei’s first notebook laptop that has a FULLVIEW 3K touchscreen feature. The 1.33kg laptop is ultra thin and is 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display screen is 13.9 inches and has a resolution of 3000 x 2000.
Due to the size of the bezels, Huawei chose to place the webcam in the MateBook X Pro’s keyboard. Also, the laptop comes with three USB ports, one USB-A and Two USB-C.
Moreover, the MateBook X Pro has GeForce MX150 graphic processing unit (GPU) from Nvidia and it is fitted with an eighth generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor chip and a power button with a built-in fingerprint scanner for security purpose.

Huawei MateBook X Pro comes with a 57.4Wh battery and provides the user with up to 14 hours of regular work. The laptop can as well offer up to 12 hours of video playback (1080p) and at least 15 hours of internet.
When the laptop is off, its 2.0 power button takes at most 7.8 seconds to login and 6.6 seconds to wake from hibernation. You will not require a USB cable to transfer documents since the laptop supports Huawei support technology for easy file transfer.
MateBook X Pro laptop with Intel Core i5 processor and 256GB internal storage will sell from 1499 Euros, ($ 1850.16), whereas the 512GB storage device with i7 Intel Core processor will sell at 1899 Euros, ($2343.57).
Apart from MateBook X Pro, Huawei is also launching two Android powered tablets, M5 and M5 Pro. The M5 tablet is 8 inches in size and M5 Pro is 10.8 inches. The two tablets both charge via USB-C and come in either space gray or champagne gold colors. However, neither of the two tablets have the earphone jack.
