A girl who escaped from North Korea has opened up about the horrifying life inside the country’s capital city of Pyongyang. Hee Yeon Lim, a 26 years old girl whose father was a high-ranking military officer in Kim’s government told the mirror how Kim Jong Un sent officers to extract beautiful girls to work in his houses as slaves.
Hee’s father, Col. Woi Yeon Lim was a member of the Kim’s most trusted circle, but when he died in 2015 at the age of 51, Hee and her mother escaped Pyongyang, now they live in South Korea.
The defector says that the captured girls were trained on how to feed Kim Jong Un with caviar and massage him. If they refused, as Hee says, the girls would disappear never to be seen again.
Hee Yeon, who has also experienced the despotism describes how the “rocket man” would dine in imported meals like the caviar and Chinese bird’s nest soup. The delicacies would cost as much as $2,700.
Hee remembers an occasion when a group of 11 singers was accused of making pornographic video clips, and so they were executed in public. She says that she was forced to watch the execution.
Hee told the mirror that soldiers forced them out of classrooms in the middle of the day and took them to the military training school stadium. The accused musicians were then brought out and tied in front of anti-aircraft guns. One by one, the guns were fired, and each time a gun went off, one musician disappeared. All you could see was blood and body pieces scattering all over.
The horrifying scene left her feeling mentally sick; Hee later decided to escape Kim Jong Un’s country. The family paid someone to smuggle them out of the country across China border, before then moving to South Korea.
