The famous social media Facebook is trying to notify some of the US users that they fell victim to Russian promotional information during the previous year election of President.
The second plans to roll out a new tool so that every user can check if they are following or Liking the pages and the accounts, on both the Facebook and also Instagram. Kremlin set up over the past years in order to sow the social and political troubles.
140 million users have seen kremlin backed content on Facebook and Instagram during 2016election. It can take advantage of Facebook’s new portal, as it is soon becoming a part of the site’s help centre.

Maybe Facebook and Instagram more than 140 million users can have been served a story produced by Russian sources as a result of the friend’s list interacting with that content.
Not all the affected users can take advantage of Facebook’s forthcoming transparency tool.

Facebook refused to say how many users could take advantage of its new transparency tool, but it is likely in the millions of users. Companies’ leaders expressed doubts that they have the ability to reach out to 140 million US users.

Google and Twitter promised to harden their platforms against the misinformation entering the next US election in next year while introducing new political and the measures of transparency.
Facebook said that it is more important that the people to understand how the foreign actors are trying to sow the division and mistrust using the social media before and after the elections.
