A primary complaint about Smartwatch users is the need to recharge them daily just like smartphones. Xiaomi owned company, Huami, has announced Amazfit Bip smartwatch with a battery that lasts more than one month on a single charge.
Huami’s latest wearable gadget, Amazfit Bip, goes for only $99, cheaper than its competitors. The watch is currently available in North America alone.
Other Advantages Of Amazfit Bip
Also, Amazfit Bip comes with a GPS tracker, a pulse sensor to monitor your heart rate, an ip68-rate for high-pressure water resistance (thus, it can stay underwater up to 30 minutes), and a 3-axis movement sensor. Moreover, the Bip also accepts notifications from both Android and iPhone Operating Systems.
Amazfit Bip has a 1.28-inch full-color touchscreen display that is Gorilla Glass 3 protected; meaning it is scratch resistance. The watch also has a soft rubber band, about 20 mm in size. The owner can change the band to either metal or any other choice according to their choice.
Unlike the 2016 Amazfit watch with a battery that lasted only for a week, the company says that Amazfit Bip’s 190mAh battery can last up to 30 days on a single charge while operating on full/maximum notifications and up to 45 days while on minimal notifications.
The Bip’s round rectangular bottom shape is a precise imitation of the Apple’s smartwatch and the nugget time. However, it is incredibly light; it weighs only 31 grams.
The difference between Amazfit Bip watch and Apple watch is that it runs on Xiaomi operating system; hence it does not support third-party apps. Simply, Bip has no app store, and therefore it is fit for exercise tracking and regular notifications.
The Amazfit Bip is available in a variety of colors; Onyx Black, Kokoda Green, Cinnabar Red and White Cloud. However, Onyx Black is available for pre-order on the company’s website as the company expects to start shipping in the other colors in March this year.
